Been a while!

Picture of Jimmy Olsen looking proud in a seersucker suit

The last time I updated this site, DC had just announced that I was going to be drawing Superman’s Pal Jimmy Olsen. And since then, well… I finished it. SPJO has been translated into Italian, Spanish, and Portuguese, made it onto a dozen or so year’s best lists, won the Eisner Awards for Best Humor Comic and Best Limited Series, the Ringo Award for Best Humor Comic, and is nominated for the Harvey Award for Book of the Year. I’m hugely grateful to my collaborators Matt Fraction, Nathan Fairbairn, and Clayton Cowles, my assistant Tom Rogers, all the great editors at DC, especially Jessica Chen, and publicity man Clark Bull, without whom no one would have ever heard of the book.

After wrapping up Jimmy, I drew stories that appeared in a Harley Quinn holiday special, a Superman & Batman team book, and a Tales from The Old Guard Anthology. Also two issues of Teen Titans Academy, some short personal comics that appeared on twitter, and a bunch of covers, all while feeling absolutely certain that I was not getting anything done whatsoever. As I type this I’m wrapping the first issue of a new project at DC which will probably be announced soon.

Let’s see if I can keep this site a little more up to date!
