Whiteout date announced?

I have no inside information at all, so I can’t confirm this, but it’s being reported all over the net that the WHITEOUT movie will be hitting theaters on September 19th. The source for the story seems to be Shock ‘Til You Drop. Again, my posting this doesn’t mean it’s official. It’s just something someone wrote on a website.

Hey, new website!

Just in time for my birthday, a new site! And it wasn’t designed for html 2.0! I was a guest at the Emerald City Comicon last week. If you want to know what that was like, check the Haikus on the Periscope blog. Also from the Periscope blog, here’s a commissioned sketch of Omar from The Wire. (Big, big thanks to Mike Jusenius for getting me a scan so quickly!) I rarely do con sketches of “real” people, but after the Wire-Simpsons mash-up drawings outed me as a big Wire fan, the requests started coming in. I geeked out pretty hard doing this one, and it was fascinating to imagine illustrating a Wire story as a crime comic.
